Where I came from, where I am and where I want to be:

 I have always been a very relationship-oriented person. Interacting with a diverse range of people, getting to know them and seeing what really makes them tick is something I enjoy. Also, I have always enjoyed looking at history from a sociological perspective and seeing the effects that various events have had on people. Marketing and/or Public Relations felt like a natural fit for my personality and interests. 

A few years, a college degree and a global pandemic later found me working at SOCi Inc. My title was Reputation Management Specialist II. I had many duties, but my core responsibility was responding to online reviews for property management firms (for a full list of responsibilities and accomplishments, see my resume). What I enjoyed most about my work wass strategizing how to best diffuse a negative situation with my words or helping enhance someone’s positive experience. However, after three years, I was ready to take on new challenges.
 

As I look to the next stage, I am reminded of my roots. I want to leverage the writing, critical thinking and technical skills I’ve gained to help foster a positive relationship between the organization and the public. I also look forward to building professional relationships with both co-workers and outside contacts. My love of building relationships doesn’t stop when I close my laptop at the end of the workday. I am a massive people-person and am always looking for new ways to spend quality time with all of my friends (and looking for ways to meet new people). I love the gym and weightlifting four or five days a week. I’m also a car guy, a history buff, a film enthusiast and a casual philosophy nerd.

I’m enthused for every opportunity to keep developing both my professional and personal life. I’m definitely hungry for the next chapter to begin.
